ThermaVein® offers the instant, safe and permanent removal of red veins often referred to as thread veins or spider veins.
What can ThermaVein® treat?
- Red Facial veins
- Milia
- Skin tags
- Campbell-de-Morgan spots
- Cherry angioma
- Spider veins
- Vascular blemishes
How does ThermaVein® remove thread veins?
ThermaVein® seals the thread vein walls with a very low current of 4MHz, causing them to instantly and permanently disappear. The low current ensures the blood does not coagulate, making it a very safe treatment.
Is the thread vein treatment painful?
A ThermaVein® treatment can be mildly uncomfortable depending on your sensitivity. The treatment is relatively quick and most clients find the procedure totally bearable.
Are there any contra Indications?
We can't treat you with ThermaVein® if any of the following apply to you:
- If your thread veins are located anywhere below the chest area e.g. legs
- You are suffering from an infectious skin condition
- You are pregnant
- You have Epilepsy
- You have a Pacemaker
- You take anti-coagulants
- You have fake tan on the area to be treated
How many treatments will I need?
Your Therapist will discuss this with you during your consultation to give you an idea of the number of treatments you are likely to need. Many clients only require one or two.
How will my skin be after the thread vein treatment?
Following treatment, your skin will be red and feel warm. In most cases redness will calm down within the day, depending on your skin type. There may be slight redness in the skin surrounding the treated area for a few days, but this can be longer.
Your skin may also be dry and have small crusts. These will gradually fade and be taken away by the body. ThermaVein® thermo coagulation has a very good success rate. As with all cosmetic procedures, it cannot be guaranteed, therefore there is a possibility that it may not work for you.
