Threading
Threading is a technique of removing unwanted hair traditionally practiced in the Middle East, Asia and now becoming very popular in the west.
It is performed using a fine, pure cotton thread, which is twisted between the fingers and around rows of hair to pull them out by their roots.
Which areas are most suitable for threading?
Threading is most commonly used for eyebrow shaping, removing facial hair- from upper and lower lips, chin, sides of the face, and the space between eyebrows. Threading is a very precise method and gives a smooth, neat and hair free finish.
Does it hurt?
Threading is a fast and less painful method of removing unwanted hair for many people which causes very little or no trauma to the skin. It is therefore, especially good for facial hair removal, where the skin is generally more sensitive.
How long do the results last?
Threading causes new hair to grow finer and sparser and the hair free look lasts for 1-3 weeks depending on how fast your hair naturally regrows.
How much does it cost?
- Eyebrows £15
- Upper lip £10
- Forehead £10
- Chin £8
- Sides of face £12
- Neck £8
- Full face (including eyebrows) £45
